This page explains what data AutomateMotion collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and in plain words.
1. What we collect
When you create an account we collect your email, your name and the YouTube channels you choose to connect. When you make videos we store the titles, scripts and files you create.
2. How we use it
We use your data to make your videos, show your channel stats and run your account. We never sell your data.
3. AI and third parties
Videos are made with the help of AI services for scripts, voices and visuals. We share only what each service needs to do its job. The full list of services is below, by name.
4. YouTube API Services
AutomateMotion uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can remove our access at any time in your Google account settings.
5. How long we keep it
Failed videos are removed after 24 hours. Your account data stays until you delete your account, then it is removed within 30 days.
6. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted. Write to us and we answer within 30 days.
7. Services we use
These are the terms you agree to by using AutomateMotion. They are a draft and have not been reviewed by a lawyer.
What the service does
AutomateMotion writes, voices, edits and renders faceless videos for the YouTube channels you connect, and uploads them when you tell it to. It is a tool: what gets published, and whether it should be, is your decision.
Your content is yours
You keep every right in the videos, scripts and images you make here. You are responsible for having the rights to everything in it: the footage, the music, the likenesses and the claims you make. We do not grant you rights in third party material that passes through the tool.
Your account
You need an invite code to create an account. Keep your login details to yourself, and tell us if someone else gets into your account. One person or company per account.
Acceptable use
Make videos you have the right to make. Do not use AutomateMotion for anything unlawful, for impersonating somebody, or for content that breaks the YouTube Terms of Service. We can suspend an account that does.
Payments and renewals
Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe. A plan renews automatically at the end of each period at the price shown when you subscribed. We tell you before any price change.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from Billing. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it is not renewed after that.
Refunds
Where the law gives you a right to a refund, you have it. Outside that, payments for a period already started are not refunded.
YouTube
Connecting a channel means the YouTube Terms of Service apply to what you do with it. We only upload when you tell us to.
Limitation of liability
AutomateMotion is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for lost profits, lost views or indirect damage. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Suspension
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, the YouTube Terms of Service or the law. Where we reasonably can, we tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.
YouTube API Services, in full
AutomateMotion uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy, and you can remove our access at any time in your Google account settings.
AutomateMotion's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The scopes we ask for, and why, written out in full because an abbreviation is not a disclosure:
· https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly to list your channels and videos.
· https://www.googleapis.com/auth/yt-analytics.readonly to show views and watch time.
· https://www.googleapis.com/auth/yt-analytics-monetary.readonly to show estimated revenue.
· https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload to upload a video when you tell us to.
Where your files are kept
Your videos, images and audio are stored in Cloudflare R2, and the servers that render them are Hetzner's. The privacy page lists every service we send data to by name.
We use a cookie to keep you signed in, and nothing else.
Cookies
There are no advertising cookies and no third party trackers. Clearing the cookie signs you out and nothing else.
You can have your account and everything in it removed.
Data deletion
Write to privacy@automatemotion.com and ask us to delete your account. We remove your account data within 30 days. You can disconnect a YouTube channel yourself at any time in your Google account.
